Happy to be alive .. everyday is a celebration

This dialogue is from the move the cardboard boxed . Simple but heart warming movie. Memories of Amith are still fresh in our minds, we grew up together its hard to forget the good times we had. The Movie and the unfortunate incident makes me feel. Life is precious we don't know the value when we have it.

Movies tend to touch a cord in our monotonous lives , it is hard to explain. Movies are modeled on normal peoples aspirations , dreams, fears , hopes and lives. But there is a unfortunate side to this where people model lives on movies. I watched Rustum on Jan 20th and I was immediately able to see the relation to Amith's murder. The killer seems to be motivated by this movie. Or I am starting to see everything in relation to Amith 😁.

Arjun completed 2 years today. Boy has he been a bundle of joy for us. It is just sooo pleasant to watch him grow up. Hope he has the best life possible. Wishing him eternal happiness. Both Pranathi and Arjun are growing up at a fast. Me and Sahana are growing old equally fast. Both things are very evident when we look at the yearbook.

Pranathi seems almost like a grown up girl. She is such a sweet girl. I love her.

Arjun is a mischivious kid , who can impress people with his looks. He has gown up soo much in the last year.

I am happy to be here to witness these kids grow up. I am sad that Amith is not here to see Arnav grow up.

Building the building

We have put a lot of sweat and hard earned money towards constructing our new house, hope we stay there long enough and enjoy our stay as well. It has taken us 2 years to reach this point. I have to write down what I remember. SITE I remember the first time when Arun told me about site 601. There were 2 sites for sale, one was priced close to 4000 per sqft and another site for 3700, the second site was a dead end site, I was ok with the dead end site. Arun agreed look at the second site itself since it was priced slightly less. This was site 601. One fine Sunday when Dad was visiting us , me Arun and Dad went to see the site. We spoke to the broker, offered him 50rs per sqft if the price was brought down to 3500. That worked, thanks to Dad for that Idea :). Then the process of talking to the owner over phone and securing money for advance started. Since the owner was based in UK much of the conversation happened over email of phone. He agreed to visit us in a couple of week...

Beeing Dad

It took me and dad a couple of days to decide on the birth date. Finally July 15 th 9 AM was chosen as the date. With all this planning destiny had a surprise planned. While I was told to expect a baby boy ( Because of a astrological combination in my horoscope ), doctor Sushma Akka came out and said here is the baby girl :D. It has been a loooooong 9 months. I’m very excited to meet my daughter , I’m looking forward to help her develop as a complete individual. It’s been 5 weeks since our princess was born ( July 15 th ). My patriotic feelings are souring since I have just the documentary on Rajeev Gandhi I wish she can sever our great country in ways that I could not :)
