I am saddened and shocked by the sudden death of my beloved brother Amith. We were the best of brother for the first 20 years of our lives. As kids Amith used to encourage me to jump from trees ,learn riding a bike. He use to always say we have to all die one day why do you worry so much ( this conversation keeps coming back to me). I am happy to say that Amith lived his life on his own terms .... Amithavagi jeevana. Amith was true big bro to rest of our cousins ( younger to me in age ).
Things that we did that seem very fresh in my mind are.
Running around the farm with dogs.
Learning cycling with him.
Getting scoldings from KeshavaMurthy chikkpa for teaching some wrong things to Amith and Adarsh.
Me and Amith forming a team against Harshita and Adarsh.
This whole thing would repeat twice every year. Summer vacation and Dasara vacation.
The new year parties , visits to Palya, running around dogs and pigs during wedding... Fun times.
Many first day first show movies.
When I started working in Bangalore, I stayed with Chikappa , Chikki , Amith and Adarsh , I guess this was when we drifted apart.
My only regret is that I should have lowered my ego and met him before travelling to US. Now its all in the past. Here is a recent picture from 2015 when we met at my place in Bangalore.
On 13th Jan around 2 PM Amith went out from home he might he had no imagination that he will be stepping out of his house for the last time. That was the last time his loved ones saw him. I keep imagining what Amith would have thought while the bullet was lodged in his chest and going to hospital, I guess thinking about his son, wife , father and mother. It is a big loss for the our family.
I had to question my astrological knowledge to check why this happened.
Sudden events are typically indicated by 8th house and 8th lord. Amith has very good combinations in his horoscope , the good combinations are exchange of lagna lord and navamadipathi , malavya yoga in lagna. But at this time the following things were transpiring in the horoscope.
1. Mars dasha Shani bukti. Mars is in lagna with 8th lord Shukra. Mars usually wins interplanetary battles, but in this case Mars is neecha in navamsha ( thus reducing his strength). So Mars is afflicted by Shukra. Shani is Uccha and Vakra in 8th house.
2. In gochara Amith is running Ashtama Shani.
3. In gochara Amith has no guru bala as guru is in 6th from moon.
Mars Dashey will be be extremely good for Amith but the specific timing of Shani bukit , Astama Shani and No Guru Bala is a dangerous time.
